Fund-Raise a Family Foundation at a Glance
Fund-Raise a Family Foundation, is a nonprofit organization, which operates from the belief that all children, regardless of their needs, have the right to a permanent family, that all responsible married couples regardless of fertility problems should have the option to become parents. Since 2008, our mission has been to assist couples in the State of Florida, afford the high cost of adoption. We are striving to go National by 2010. We know that each month hundreds of Americans consider adoption, but because of the high costs associated to complete an adoption, less than 2% move forward. We would like more of these caring people to feel they can move forward into the adoption journey, and have the confidence to know that the financial requirements for completing the adoption will not be a roadblock for them. To carry out this mission, Fund-Raise A Family Foundation, operates extensive fundraising campaigns to help assist with the financial burden associated with adopting a child.
Who can use Fund-Raise a Family Foundation assistance?
Anyone who is a US citizen whom resides in the State of Florida who has completed the adoption qualifications may apply for funding. These requirements include however are not limited to an approved home study from a licensed agency or social worker is eligible to apply for funding. Financial need, along with the personal commitments of providing a minimum of the first 20% of the adoption cost along with donation of hours of service to Fund-Raise a Family Foundation must be demonstrated.
Any child/children currently residing in the home whether biological or adopted will not impact eligibility of financial assistance. We do not discriminate applicants for their gender, race, creed, national origin, or religious beliefs when reviewing applications. It is our sole digression to enhance and/or modify our qualification requirements as needed without previous notification. Our financial assistance, combined with the families funds, truly make these adoptions possible.
